Lately, there has been a resurgence of Delphi books, lead by Marco Cantu and others, but these guys are not using traditional book publishing […]

If you don’t have the IDE set to automatically check for updates, then […]

I’ve just published an article on the Developer Network called "A General Discussion about the RAD Studio End User License Agreement".
It is being published because there seem to be a pretty steady stream of questions about certain issues regarding the EULA for Delphi, and we wanted a document that explains things as clearly as […]

Yesterday on my Q&A session for the Delphi Product Address at CodeRage II, folks mentioned to old tool palette and how they miss it. Quite frankly, I totally don’t get this. In my view, the new tool palette is something like 723 times better than the old one. Finding components is very, very fast. Arranging […]

By now, you all should have been notified by the IDE that you have an update available to the documentation for Delphi 2007, C++Builder 2007, and RAD Studio 2007. If you haven’t been notified, you can go to the Start menu and ask the product to "Check for Updates". In it you should see, among […]

I haven’t gushed about a Jeff Atwood post in a while, so I’m due. I’m making up for it by posting two articles here that he’s recently written. In those, Jeff talks about feature bloat, why it happens, and how it can damage software products. Interesting stuff, and something that we can all relate to […]
