Cool Stuff with Delphi #20

FreeCommander

"FreeCommander is an easy-to-use alternative to the standard windows file manager. The program helps you with daily work in Windows. Here you can find all the necessary functions to manage your data stock. You can take FreeCommander anywhere - just copy the installation directory on a CD, USB-Stick or even a floppy disk - and you can even work with this program on a foreign computer."

    Try Total Commander
It has everything you can possibly want in a file manager
In the DOS days I used Norton Commander and never liked any of the MS file managers

for your information, the screenshot tells people nothing…
you better tell them that this is a norton commander replacement
or better, that it’s like total/windows commander or midnight commander
but i guess, these words mean nothing to you…

    Daniel R. Wolf Says:

@Luke: Yes and according to Mr. Ghisler (author of Total Commander) he is _still_ using Delphi 2.0 for his development (!) to easier maintain a single codebase even for the 16bit-Version (so he is using Delphi 1.0 as well).

    :-)

Total Commander is the coolest stuff built with Delphi of all times! Once you get used to this powerful tool and its amazing plugins you will be a believer.
If there would be a CSWD chart i would vote for TC!

Who likes this Chart idea too? :)

Check this out, it may be a competitor to the new owner, but it is written in Delphi and the best db schema tool I know of.

i’m using total commander for ages now, cant live without it (well almost :) ) and i’m ashamed i didn’t knew it was written in delphi :( . Ofcourse i’m not supprised Delphi is still the best programming tool around. (used vs for 3 years and simply hated it).
