Random Thoughts on the Passing Scene #48
02 Jan
- Well, back from the Christmas break — sorry if we’ve been a bit quiet around here.
- Can you read Turkish? If so, there’s a Delphi book out there for you!
- Julian Bucknall is getting his great EZDSL library ready for Unicode.
- Cool stuff from Uwe Raabe — Delphi Magic that lets you iterate over all records in a TDataSet using a for-in-loop and access field values like properties.
- I’m saddened to hear that prominent Delphi community member Robert Marquardt recently passed away after losing a battle with Cancer. Robert was at one point a Director of the JEDI Project and a valuable contributor to the community. I’m sure that I am supported by the whole Delphi community in passing my condolences to his friends and family.
- Serge Dosyukov has updated his set of "Built with…" graphics.

Nice to see people care about the unicode stuff!
And all the Tnt components. :/
January 2nd, 2008 at 3:02 pmNow I just wonder how big a pita it’ll be to convert several years of existing unicode stuff using widestring.
Hmmm… What are the horizon for the Turbo line ? Will be upgraded to the latest Delphi/C++/etc or will die the way it is?
