Sorry — no Delphi Hour today. I am in Copenhagen today, and Anders is in Stockholm? Berlin? We are traipsing around showing off all the cool new stuff in RAD Studio 2007 and so there is no one in the Studio to do the show.
I think next week we’ll try to get one done from EKON. I’ll probably record a few things with some folks and play them.
Nice to see CodeGear doing a presentation in Denmark again. However I do wonder why:
- This event hasn’t been announced to the Danish Delphi community.
I’m presently in the company of 8 other Delphi developers (it’s Pizza & Battlefield night) from 5 different companies and none of them have heard of it. I’m already on RAD Studio 2007 with SA so that might explain why I wasn’t notified, but all the others are still on D5-D2005 and according to them CodeGear does have their email addresses.
- As far as I can tell from the agenda (http://www.codegear-events.eu/nordic/delphi_seminar_q3/delphi_seminar_dk_Q3.html), the presentation will mainly focus on the new .NET stuff like most of the previous presentations Borland did. I’m sure this will be of interest to the few Delphi .NET developers, but I do think it would be smarter if you focused on getting all the Win32 developers to upgrade. From my POW the agenda in London tomorrow looks much more interesting.
Anyhow, I do hope the presentation went well.
