I am familiar with CnPack, Before 2005, CnPack's web site had a anonymous ftp sever, and someone uploaded some pirated delphi tools, such as modelmaker.

GExperts License Agreement is in CnPack's help file. Also you can found the unit notes as below in some units ported from GExperts:

{******************************************************************************}
{ Unit Note:                                                                   }
{    This file is partly derived from GExperts 1.2, a lot of function added.   }
{                                                                              }
{ Original author:                                                             }
{    GExperts, Inc  http://www.gexperts.org/                                   }
{    Erik Berry <eberry@gexperts.org> or <eb@techie.com>                       }
{******************************************************************************}

CnPack credits said: Erik Berry, the GExperts Administrator, give Nice Suggestions and License to CnPack.

The Credits also said: GExperts is Referenced Much by CnWizards.

The services and price of delphi is really very bad in China. It is not fair for the users who have bought Delphi.

CNWizards is currently one of the best Open Source add-ons for Delphi. I think this project is very much worth to be promoted.

One thing to note is that cnPack/cnWizards is the same group that used to have lots of pirated Delphi components/tools on their web site for download. The community got mad in the newsgroups*, and they eventually took them down. Of course, they claimed that someone was inappropriately using their server and they were against software piracy. Also of note is that they started the cnWizards project by taking the GExperts source code, inappropriately re-licensing the GExperts source under their own license, and changing all of the method/class names from Gx* to Cn*. In fairness, they have since corrected this problem and added lots more to cnWizards, but, that said, I still think it would be best if CodeGear employees wouldn't promote the work of this group.

* See: http://groups.google.com/group/borland.public.delphi.thirdpartytools.general/browse_thread/thread/3bda0211b75693ec/e3e2c408783bb48c#e3e2c408783bb48c
