From time to time someone asks me what Philippe Kahn is doing. After he left Borland, Philippe successfully started (and sold) two companies, Starfish Software and LightSurf Technologies. He is now the CEO, Chairman, and Co-founder (with Sonia Lee) of Fullpower Technologies. He is also a successful sailboat racer with his Pegasus Racing team.
Fullpower Technologies has been in stealth mode for the past few years. Today, I received an email from Philippe letting me know that Fullpower’s web site has been updated to tell the world more about what they are doing. Fullpower’s technology page states "Fullpower provides a complete multi-tasking preemptive operating environment for sensors designed for camera phones and consumer electronic devices." The Fullpower business development page states "Fullpower works hand-in-hand with leaders to create breakthrough solutions including leading consumer and medical devices as well as government and security projects."
Congratulations Philippe, Sonia, and Fullpower. I’ll keep an eye on the company and can’t wait to hear more.
