Going "on the road again" to India, China, and Japan

Next week I will be in Bangalore India for the JAX India conference.  CodeGear is the platinum sponsor for the conference.  I’m giving a keynote presentation titled “Java IDE(s) - Then, Now, and Eventually”.  Malcolm Groves, CodeGear’s Asia Pacific Director of Technologies and Evangelism, is presenting a session titled “Practical Introduction to JBuilder 2007“.  And, Shelby Sanders, Ruby R&D engineer, is presenting a session titled, “Effective Ruby on Rails Development Using CodeGear’s Ruby on Rails IDE“. If you are at the conference stop by the CodeGear booth to see the latest release of JBuilder 2007 amd a preview of CodeGear’s recently announced Ruby IDE in action.

In Beijing China I will be visiting with press, customers and doing an interview on the Delphi CSDN.net Internet broadcast.

In Tokyo Japan we will be holding our latest edition of CodeGear Developer Camp on June 5th.  Co-sponsored by BEA Systems, the day will include technical presentations for C++, Ruby, Delphi for PHP, Visual JEE/SOA, Visual EJB 3.0 development with JBuilder and Weblogic Server 10, and Delphi working with Adobe Flash.  We will also have a special guest at the developer camp in the morning, the chief designer of the Ruby language.  If you have questions that you would like me to ask, send an email to davidi@codegear.com.

I’ll try to give reports from the road.

Delphi seems to be given a go in India. While jBuilder & Ruby IDE is being talked about, nothing is talkes about on Delphi.

This is really worrying for Indian Delphi developers
