Day four of CodeRage is now complete. Last night my family reminded me that today was March 15th, the “Ides of March”. Since I am not a “Julius Caesar” kind of guy, I was not worried. Yet, with some of the very strange things that happen these days, one never knows for sure.
Today was another good day at the CodeRage online virtual conference. A day full of sessions, the virtual exhibit hall reception, and even our first trial of the SkypeCast beta. John Kaster created a SkypeCast room for the exhibit hall reception. John, Anders, and Christine had a good time with about 100 developers (the beta test limit is 100). I’ll let the team tell you more about the experience. While the SkypeCast was going on, our exhibitors were also answering questions from the CodeRage attendees in the general chat exhibit hall and in their separate chat rooms.
Tomorrow, Friday, is the fifth and final day for this edition of CodeRage. We’ll end the day with the closing keynote at 12:30pm PDT with Michael Swindell, CodeGear’s Vice President of Products and Strategy, giving an overview of our products, vision, and direction. Michael will also be joined at around 1:15pm PDT by Tod Nielsen (Borland CEO) and Ben Smith (CodeGear CEO) to close CodeRage with some final thoughts.
Is it over too soon? Should we do this again? Do we all need to get back to our families, programming, and some sleep? The speaker evaluation forms, the conference evaluation form, the blogs, the emails, and the memories will guide us.

"Should we do this again?" From my point of view absolutelly YES !! It has been great, I have learned a lot, and I had fun. The greatest thing since sliced bread (and I am not being sarcastic). My Kudos and compliments for your effords to everyone involved. I know I have said that many times here and on coderage chat, but what can I make if I feel so thankful..
Yes, Codegear must do it again ! Although I haven’t had time to attend all the sessions due to time restrictions, CodeRage has been superb. Many of us (especially in Europe)couldn’t justify travelling to the US for a major conference, so this works well for us.
I’ve learned a lot. Well Done !
Absolutely! CodeRage should be repeated even if (when) you offer a physical conference. Perhaps it’s the sort of thing that should happen early in each year to sort of launch the year.
I enjoyed the sessions I was able to get to and I’m looking forward to downloading the rest over time.
I’m also hoping that you extend the discount offer to the end of the month.
