From eWeek online today, written by Daryl Taft, Tod Nielsen said "We expect to have a deal done in the next few weeks, and then we’ll announce shortly after we get it taken care of. And we expect it to be completed by Sept. 30." Daryl also writes about some of the ex-Borland employees who have come back to the Developer Tools Group.

Really good article.
I haven’t seen any anouncements, so I guess they did not make the Sep. 30 timeline for completing the deal. (Unless, of course, Tod meant Sep. 30, 2007.)
