Where I live college professors are very low paid, they begin teaching because they have failed to succeed in their career and usually they are out of step with the current trends. Sad but true - I have graduated from a technical university and everything I've learned is not due to the university but due to my own efforts to educate myself. Could you imagine that your dentist is studiing new technology every year or get certified every year? They learned their stuff once and for entire life. I understand that everything is changing in their area also, but not even close as fast as in IT.

And those guys never have deadlines! I have wait for month to show my son to a doctor! I need lost a day to go to a doctor, because they never work on weekends, or later then four or five.

And very often they are useless.

Sad! Sad! Sad! Chiropractor makes more than IT analyst! I’m crying out loud!

Its not a matter of someone saying to Borland "heres some cash, hand it over", theres lots of i's to dot and t's to cross and discussions to have. All of which takes time, so really this process hasnt been going on that long, so broken record? hardly.. and does it really matter (in the short term, say, the next 12 months) who the devco really is - until things are sorted I still have a product (Delphi 2006) which i love using, and which is being supported. I wish I could tell you who is investing in DevCo. But I can’t tell you any more that I have. We are moving forward on all fronts. When the deal is done, we will tell everyone.
