Where in the world has David I been?

Sometimes I feel like I am that Where’s Waldo character.  I am sorry that I haven’t blogged since the end of October.  Why?  First there was the US developer conference, then I was off to Brasil for our conference in Sao Paulo.  Thanksgiving arrived just after I got back from those conferences.  I then embarked on a round the world tour giving seminars and press interviews for Borland Developer Studio 2006.

Between weeks in Europe and China/Japan, I had the weekend off in Beijing.  On a very cold (below freezing and with a wind of about 30 mph), Sunday I visited the Forbidden City.

Once inside the walls I wandered around to see the different buildings, artwork, and gardens. I was very surprised to find a Starbucks Coffee Shop inside the Forbidden City (now I can get my Venti Mocha just about everywhere)!

On the world tour I stopped in Amsterdam, Budapest, Prague, Moscow, Beijing, Shanghai, and Tokyo.  I am now back in California and ready to finish out the year while everyone enjoys Delphi 2006, C++Builder 2006, and C#Builder 2006.

Happy Holidays everyone!!!

David I
