Estoy seguro de que la comunidad tiene curiosidad por conocer las noticias acerca de Tiburón, la próxima versión de Delphi y C++Builder.

En breve daremos a conocer las novedades, son muchas novedades, entre ellas, nuevos componentes para la VCL, innumerables mejorías en la VCL, otras en el lenguaje y el nuevo DataSnap Framework.

En especial el nuevo DataSnap Framework viene con varias novedades, muchas de las cuales vienen del feedback de la comunidad.  Entre las novedades que les puedo adelantar es que quien utiliza DataSnap, si no quiere ya no pueden depender de COM.

Tiburon

Tenho certeza que a comunidade está curiosa para ter notícias sobre Tiburon, a próxima versão do Delphi e C++ Builder.

Em breve vamos começar a mostrar o que vem por ai, são muitas novidades, entre elas novos componentes para VCL, inúmeras melhorias na VCL, outras na linguagem e o novo DataSnap framework.

Especialmente o novo DataSnap framework vem com várias novidades, muitas vindas do feedback da comunidade. Em breve estarei comentando sobre essas novidades, mas uma eu posso adiantar, quem utiliza DataSnap não gosta de depender de COM, pois é, você não irá depender mais se quiser  :).

Delphi Day/JBuilder Day in Chile and Argentina

During the last 2 weeks we had 4 events in Latin America: 2 Delphi Days and 2 JBuilder Days, both in Chile and Argentina.  This was my first event after the announcement, but I was not alone- David I was with me in Chile and Jeff Anders in Argentina.

Both of the Delphi Days were great and unique opportunities to talk our community and answer the main question: “What will happen with Delphi?”.  The answer is very simple, LONG LIFE FOR DELPHI.

During the event the attendees had an opportunity to see Delphi for PHP 2 and Delphi/400, our most recently released products.

Both JBuilder Day as well as Delphi Day were successful.   The new JBuilder 2008 with Application Factories is an answer to many Java issues;  not just to support web development, frameworks, libraries, etc., but to help developers to share ideas, to transform their intention into reality and dramatically improve productivity.

This week more 4 JBuilder events to go!  Two in Mexico City and one in Guadalajara and Monterrey.
