CodeGear in Latin America - The Adventure!
Hi everybody, the last 2 months were so busy at CodeGear - Latin America had a lot of events, but we survived.
After the CodeGear Developer Day in Chile we flew to Argentina for the next CodeGear Developer Days in Buenos Aires and Cordoba.
| Argentina – CodeGear Developer Day The event in Argentina was so interesting, the reception and positive feedback was great. In Buenos Aires we had 200 developers and in Cordoba we had 100 developers. I also had opportunity to meet many members of the ClubDelphi.com community, which is one of the most important Delphi communities in the Spanish language. Argentina was one big adventure! Because of the terrible fog at the Buenos Aires airport all flights were canceled and we had to travel to Cordoba by bus. Going by bus was not a problem, the problem was 10 hours by bus during the night and arriving to give our presentations first thing in the morning ?. But it was very rewarding and it was worth the trip! The developers in Cordoba were so enthusiastic and friendly. After the developer meeting in Cordoba, we went to the airport and still no flights. So we rode another 10 hours after the event to get back to Buenos Aires. To prove our ordeal, see the picture. |

Brazil – InterBase Day
The first event 100% focused in InterBase was amazing, and Shaunak Mistry, the Principal InterBase Engineer was there to speak about the advantages of using InterBase.
During the InterBase Day week, our InterBase customers had the opportunity to talk with Shaunak and request what features they want for the future releases.
In Brazil Shaunak told me that he will start to blog, since he had a lot of good surprises with the InterBase customers there!!!
Shaunak where are you??
