Delphi 2005 - Crystal Reports 9.1 updated
Last week I receive a message from developer reporting a error in Crystal Reports edition for Delphi 2005.
The error message is: “The request could not be submitted for background processing“ and when you preview report with blob field containing images on a second execution of preview you receive this message.
I contacted Business Objects support, after some emails the error was reproduced and onde service pack identified to fix this problem.
You can download the service pack in ftp://ftp1.businessobjects.com/outgoing/EHF/crnet11win_en.zip, this service pack fix other bugs in Crystal Report, see readme.pdf.

Do you know whether japanese edition is available?
Because… for instance, this patch includes ‘crdb_adoplus.dll’, but does not include ‘crdb_adoplus_res_jp.dll’.

I asked that for Crystal Reports and this is the answer:
There are no Japanese updates for the bundled version Crystal Reports 9.1 in .NET 2003.
They can purchase a full developer version of Crystal Reports (9.0, 10.0 or XI) to integrate into .NET and it will be updated regularly.

Thanks so much for reporting this. I had an issue with reports from the preview screen having extra space at the top and left which was fixed in this release. I hadn’t known about the update.
