The Return of the Delphi Hour!
29 May
Hey, it’s about time: We finally have the return of the Delphi Hour at a new day and a new time: Thursdays at 2:00pm Pacific Time.
This Thursday, May 31, we’ll be having a special two hour edition, where Anders and I will go over the Delphi 2007 roadshow materials. We’ll have slides and demos and stuff from all the presentations that have been given around the USA and around the world.
The week after, and every following Thursday at 2:00pm it will be our regular one hour show.

Glad to see this returning.
Thursday is good for me, but is there any chance it can be earlier? 2:00 Pacific time is 5:00 Eastern, making it tough to listen live. The previous times (11:00/12:00?) were ideal.
If not, I can always catch the replays.
May 29th, 2007 at 1:04 pmGood news!
May 29th, 2007 at 1:17 pmAbout the time slot: it’s going to be a Thursday evening live show here in central Europe, starting 11 pm CET.
Good time for Europe. Kids already in bed, and not right at dinner time like it used to be…
May 29th, 2007 at 1:42 pmHmm, Thursdays, well least you made it late enough that its after karate, and then after House
I shall do my best to come join in!
May 29th, 2007 at 2:33 pmPS - dont forget to add the links to the chat and the stream
May 29th, 2007 at 2:48 pmNick, tell us something about Highlander!
May 29th, 2007 at 3:48 pmI second the request for an earlier start. When you started it in the morning on the west coast, it was still "normal working hours" for us central/east coasters and we could listen to the stream while working. Starting at 2 pm means, personally, that I will not be able to participate live.
May 29th, 2007 at 4:57 pmI won’t be joining in at an evening time in Europe, but if full replays are available perhaps that doesn’t matter so much. Could you possibly give the URL of previous replays so I can see what it might be like?
Thanks.
May 29th, 2007 at 11:16 pmGood to hear but if future shows rely on video content I will have a problem as I listen to the replays whilst commuting. Unfortunately video is incompatible with my mode of transport (car) :{

May 30th, 2007 at 2:37 amI hope I can visit at least one conference
May 30th, 2007 at 7:36 amThanks, Bruce. I think I can safely wait for the replays. I listened to the most recent one, but it seemed somewhat rambling and not focussed, and I confess that I gave up after about 7 minutes. I have liked the two minute tutorials, though. Perhaps my attention span is become less? <G>
May 30th, 2007 at 9:13 amNick, could you add the link to the "event log-in" in with the event details at event central??
…
in the event that you have at hand when booking the event?
…
or I won’t be able to attend the event.
OK, I’ll stop …. sorry, just got out of control
May 30th, 2007 at 7:27 pmDavid -> I agree, the last few I listened to were more about skype, Liz, and the whole "you may have heard…" speech about a million times.
Since the repetitive speech is no longer needed, I am hoping that it will be about more than just getting skype to work for Liz to call in. Nothing against Liz, but I’m hoping for more actual programming stuff in future (given that this one seems to be shaping up as a 2007 sales pitch, and since I already have 2007, which pratically sells itself on its merits…)
May 30th, 2007 at 7:33 pmWhen are you going to update CyberEars.com with episodes? I would prefer to get these in iTunes as a RSS feed like I can with the episodes you’ve posted already.
