1-day trial was a missed "1-april joke"

lovely… good thing there’s no way to register. Gotta applaud companies which go out of their way to make it hard to evaluate their products.

1-day trial was not "the" trial. The trial was scheduled for this week. Last week we were considering a 24hr event similar to the Delphi 2007 24hr event, and the team made the 24hr trial to cooincide. We opted to do the Delphi 2007 event instead - since the 24hr trial was already done, we decided to make it available until the 14day version was posted this week.

Today I started to download both Delphi for PHP and Delphi for Win32 Trial versions. There are some points regarding the net-installer:
1) The installer stores it temporary files under "Temporary Internet Files" folder. Since the installation is a lengthly process and you may want to empty the "temp folder" for some reason, there is a chance for you to delete the downloaded files before the install process is finished.
2) The installer checks for the free space on the target drive that you’re going to install your copy of Delphi, but it doesn’t check the empty space on the drive that it stores its temporary files. For example I have a plenty of space of the target drive that I chose to install Delphi but my primary drive which hosts Windows XP had little space. After the installer started to download files I noticed that this drive has ran out of space and I had to erase files to open space.
3) The progress bar doesn’t show how much of total install process is left. It only shows progress of the component currently being installed.
